Perhaps my personal favourite month of fishing, October has been fantastic sport here the ever popular blue flash damsels taking many many fish as have cats whiskers. The fly of the month however is a small stalking bug and with crystal clear waters (15 feet+ visibility) catapult or roll casting a small stalking bug directly in front of fish and watching them engulf the fly has to be one of the most exciting ways to catch fish. A top tip is that sometimes a little more movement in the retrieval of these flies will induce a take! -Si
