Two Fish – Lakes & River

Description

Spend a day fly fishing for Wild Brown Trout on the River Dun and for Rainbow Trout and Blue Trout on our well-stocked lakes. This ticket can only be used between the 3rd April and the 24th October and can be used on the lakes or the river as you please. Please note that no fish may be taken from the river as this is strictly catch and release only, however two fish may be taken from the Lakes which is catch to kill only.

Our stretch of the River Dun is around 1.2 km long with around 650 metres of the banks being fishable. The average width is about 6 metres and average depth 1.5 metres with the water usually being gin clear. In the top half of our beat the water flows fast over chalky gravel beds. In the second half it slows around a bend and flows silently under overhanging branches, this is often where the trout often tend to be.

Once you have purchased your ticket online, you will receive an invoice by email which you will either need to print out and bring with you, or show it to us on your phone upon arrival. Please note that a ticket is valid for one year from the date of purchase. If you would like to give the ticket as a gift then please let us know during the checkout process and we will email you a presentation ticket.

We are open seven days a week and although advanced booking is not necessary, it does guarantee that you will be able to fish at your chosen time. If you know which day you are planning to come then please let us know during checkout. Occasionally the fishery will be closed for special events so please check our calendar to avoid such dates.
